3. The next screen you see will be the Login Screen. In order to use the Siplast On-Line Guarantee Application System, users must be registered. If you have not registered yet, click on the back button and select New Registration. If you have already registered, simply enter your username in the Username field and your password in the Password field and click Login to continue.


After the server authenticates your username and password, you will be taken to the main view of the Siplast On-line Guarantee Application System, called the By Contractor view.


4. IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on the version of Windows you are using, you may receive a Security Warning screen at this point. If you do, click on Yes. The warning is telling you that an applet distributed by International Business Machines (IBM) needs to load on the page. You should only see this one time, however, depending on your browser settings, it may come up every time. If so, just click Yes to accept and continue. We recommend using Internet Explorer as your browser.



5. To create a new Guarantee Application, click on the words New Guarantee Application and a new document will be opened.


6. The Siplast On-line Guarantee Application layout has been designed based on the paper version of the same form, which you are familiar with. The types of fields included on the form are as follows:



Move through the form by clicking the tabs. Click on the tab title to move from one tab to another.


7. The first tab, General, includes the basic information for the Guarantee Application.

8. The second tab, Project/Owner, includes information on the project – including the site address, and owner address and contact information.



9. The third tab, Contractor, includes contact information for the Contractor, Architect, Roof Consultant, and other professionals who might be involved in the project.


10. The fourth tab, Roof Construction, must be completed in two parts. First, determine how many roof construction documents will be needed. One roof construction document will be required for each roof assembly, if different roof construction configurations exist.





11. Second, you will need to enter the details on each roof construction tab for each roof area.

12. The fifth tab, Siplast Materials, includes information on the Siplast materials that will be needed for the job. Please note, this is not an order form, simply a list of products you expect to use.




13. The following Action buttons will appear on the Siplast On-Line Guarantee Application form. A definition of each follows.

Save Draft – Saves the document, but allows you to re-open and edit it before submitting. Use this to make changes to your application before it is submitted. *Required fields must be completed.

Submit Request – Saves the document and submits the application to the Siplast Technical Department for approval. Use this to submit the application after all changes have been made. After an application is submitted, you will not be able to make any further changes on-line.

Print – Prints the completed application for your records.

Close – Closes the current form. Changes made to fields and not saved will be lost.

Reset – Clears all fields on the form to allow you to start again.


After you have completed the application, click the Save Draft button, which will save the application and allow you to edit it again before submitting. Or, click Submit Request, which will move the Status of the application from Draft to Pending Approval. Upon submission, an e-mail notification will be sent to the Siplast Technical Department to alert them that an application has been submitted.

PLEASE NOTE: Saving or submitting your On-line Guarantee Application does not indicate that the application has been approved. In keeping with our policy, all guarantee applications will be reviewed by the Siplast Technical Department and will be approved individually.
